#1 We Should All Be Feminists’ by Chimamanda Ngozi

We Should All Be Feminists' by Chimamanda Ngozi
Personal Recommendation: I would recommend this book for a 23-year-old woman because she is probably at a time of her life when she is just forging her own way in the world in working and personal life and is probably unsure of herself and her identity. I am 26 years old and I read this book recently.

As an introduction to feminism, this is the perfect book. It is engaging, powerful and above all, short! She will probably also recognise quotations from this book from the Beyonce’s single ‘Flawless’. Every girl should read this book and the earlier, the better.

#8 The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondō

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondō
Whether we can admit it or not, all of our living spaces could afford to shed a few pounds of ‘extra stuff’. As soon as someone introduces themselves to this book, it will slowly begin to change the way they organize their belongings for life.

There are even a few episodes available on Netflix! By going over the lessons from both the book and show, comes a great deal of clarity, that helps life become more efficient. I personally learned to categorize my things differently and because of this, it saved me money. This really helped me refrain from re-purchasing something that I know I already had. Before this book, I would have just purchased it the item again because I was unable to locate it.
