Disney’s Aladdin

This product was recommended by Patrick Sinclair from All Home Robotics

This game was a tie-in to the 1992 animated film, and boy does it bring back memories. It featured satisfying platforming around the streets of Agrabah with interesting mechanics like gliding and throwing apples at guards, which were very well-done for the time. The gameplay variety was great too, shifting from platforming sections one level to a magic carpet flying level the next. Overall, they don’t make platformers like they used to, and I miss the feeling that this particular title gave me all those years ago.

Contra III: The Alien Wars

This product was recommended by Deb Das from Homegrounds

I feel one of the best SNES games I have played has to be Contra III – Alien Wars. I have always been a fan of Nintendo’s Contra and its sequels which were NES versions. Alien Wars, however, just upped the ante of the entire series, and lived up to the hype of the SNES version that followed. The graphics were so much better, and the whole added benefit of riding a motorcycle was just so cool! The NES versions had this trademark difficulty which made the game so popular, and this continued even with Alien Wars. However, the most engaging part of the game was the sheer novelty of a whole new world to explore with this once familiar game.

Earthbound

This product was recommended by Alina Clark from CocoDoc

I played a lot of Nintendo while growing up, and this game was the absolute best of all of them. Japenese made, with American kids as the target sounds like something in the 21 st, but it isn’t. While it wasn’t as famous due to its relatively simple graphics, it was a fascinating combination of everything you could for in a simple alien-inspired game. The fact that people act like it’s a rarity today is astounding to me. However, anyone who wants to play a game rarity should definitely look for Earthbound.

Harvest Moon

This product was recommended by Olivia Tan from CocoFax

It’s really amazing that the Harvest Moon series has thrived in North America. Yes, the game is great, but an RPG about farming isn’t exactly an easy sell. Those who stuck with the SNES to check out Harvest Moon found a charming life simulator about managing crops and livestock while making friends in a new town. It may not be the most exciting game, but anyone who has put some time into it can vouch that it’s one of the most addictive.

Super Mario All-Stars

This product was recommended by Olivia Tan from CocoFax

Long before remasters were a regular occurrence, Nintendo took its already classic Super Mario Bros. NES titles, re-did the graphics and sound, and released them all in one package on the SNES. The first three Super Mario Bros. games are absolute classics that every gamer should experience, and while the original versions hold up very well, Super Mario All-Stars is arguably the best way to experience these titles.

Secret of Mana 2

This product was recommended by Bandame Lyndem from NEOtakus

Although it came after Secret of Mana, the story is completely different so you can jump right into the game with no worries for not following a story line or anything. I give you 100% assurance you’ll enjoy the game.

Battle Toads & Double Dragon – Ultimate Team

This product was recommended by Bandame Lyndem from NEOtakus

If you’re not into RPGs, then this game is also my childhood favourite. While everyone is talking about Contra, I’m here grinding to finish this game.

Chrono Trigger

This product was recommended by Bandame Lyndem from NEOtakus

Another RPG game classic which is still known as one of the all time best games to ever exist. The story and the mechanics are way beyond its time and can still be enjoyed even now. If classic RPGs are within your range of games you enjoy that is.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This product was recommended by Harriet Chan from CocoFinder

This game belongs to the genre Beat Em Up. You can play them using the Super Nintendo console. Open this app on your computer and enjoy it with your friends. You can play this game as an individual player as well as in groups to attack your enemies.
