7th Heaven By James Patterson – A Hard-Hitting Twister

The three members of the Women’s Murder Club have a devastating problem to solve – and quickly before more people die a terrible death. The forensic pathologist and the journalist both help the police officer in this fast-paced action book. This is not a book for the faint-hearted to enjoy, but the twists and some nicely written scenes give a certain depth to the story. In addition to a high profile kidnap, there are a series of dreadful fires and obstacles to hinder the investigation.

The characters of the three heroines are sketched in in just enough detail to make them interesting. The methods of the investigation are written in a believable manner – although I have no way of telling how accurate they are. But it is a good story, one wants to find out what happens next. And there are some surprises, too.

If you like detective thrillers this book is worth a read, it’s not too long and there are no boring filler-in sections.
