Yehoshua Bomberg
This novel by Katherine Paterson tells the story of two unlikely friends, Jess and Leslie. Although at first Jess is disappointed that Leslie beats him in a race, they bond and create an imaginary place all their own called Terebithia. Filled with tales of friendship and creativity, this is a great read for anyone of elementary school age.
