What is and isn’t Working for the Alcoholic by Alberta Sequeira (3/16)

No Elementary students are not too young for this book I wrote. Children have tried drinking and using drugs much younger. I have 34 contributors from the USA and Canada telling family members, counselors, doctors, and the public what they need from us to recover or develop the desire for getting professional help. This is a worldwide problem that isn’t going away.

These stories are for other substance abusers, teenagers tempted to use, or those who are already being blind and finding excuses, It will not happen to me. They are raw and honest stories on how they started, what they used, other family members who struggle with this disease, and how they are trying to recover.

Two women admitted to using at age five and the other seven. It goes to show again, Elementary school age children are old enough to get a message out of this book. Our children know more than we know.
