Sildenafil tablets have been the talk of the town in 2019 and since the quest for improvement and enhancement continues, many are asking the question whether they are still relevant in 2020 or not?
At its core, its a muscle relaxant. The job sildenafil does is simple, it is to increase the blood flow around certain areas and muscles of your body. However, it’s single biggest and most popular use is for treatment for erectile dysfunction where it is sold as Viagra. Viagra’s close cousin is another known drug called Revatio, used to increase and enhance athletic performance and to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Use of Sildenafil with any kind of nitrate medication can result in a sudden decrease in blood pressure, obviously leading to further problems.
If you’ve taken Sildenafil and are now experiencing a painful erection, consult your doctor immediately. Another point worth noting is, in case of erections lasting longer than 4 hours, most men see it as an effect of Sildenafil working, but it can be damaging to the penis. See your doctor if that’s the case.
Sildenafil can decrease blood flow towards your optic nerve, which can result in vision loss. Although a direct link is not known yet, people already suffering from preexisting eye problems can experience their issues aggravated. If you are over 50 and are a smoker than first discuss with your consultant before anything.
How to use Sildenafil in 2020
Unlike other medicine, read the label and supporting information to educate yourself and understand what to expect. Follow the guidelines prescribed by your doctor and avoid self-medication.
For meds like Revatio, they can be used 3 times a day about 6 hours apart but do not do that with Viagra. For Viagra, only use it prior to sexual activity, about 30 minutes to an hour before action.
It is a common misconception that Viagra will give you erections without a cause. Note that erection occurs as a result of sexual activity, so don’t expect to walk around with a tent in your pants in public places.
In any case, if you experience nausea and dizziness after taking the pills, do not take it lightly and see your doctor immediately.
