And the only way to win is to be cunning enough to score more points than your opponent by winning tricks. However, the game comes with its own unique twist, as should you win too many tricks, you can end up losing the game for being too greedy, thereby bringing with it a challenging psychological aspect that offers much more replayability than most other card games out there.

From the name of the game itself, your goal is to be the first one to slap a jack once it is played. Basically, the deck of cards is divided between the two players, face down. Each then takes a turn in drawing a card and laying it face up on the middle of the table. Once a jack shows up, the faster player to slap the Jack wins all the cards collected in the middle of the table. You win by collecting all the cards in the deck. This is best playing in a very fast manner but be careful as you might physically hurt each other in trying to slap the Jack.

The traditional childhood card game Go Fish is suitable for children aged four and up. One person deals seven cards to each player in Go Fish. The remaining cards represent the ‘lake’ or ‘pond’ and should be spread out amongst the two players. After the cards are dealt with, each player should sort their seven cards by number or royal (Jack, Queen, King). They might then ‘fish’ for a card of a specified number by asking the other player. One of my favorite classic board games is Monopoly. It is always a good time, but can sometimes run a little longer than everyone had anticipated. The Monopoly card game allows you to experience the same amount of fun, but in a handheld version. You can now play in a much quicker fashion, and have games that last only 15 minutes, making it a competitive and quick card game! You can play with up to 5 players, and lay out your cards similar to placing them on a board. This game has been one of my all time favorite two player card games and I love that it can finish so quickly without sacrificing the fun!
