Mad Max paints a gorgeous tapestry to play on. The open-world is so well crafted that it became the star of the show for me, it’s amazing how it just feels right and puts you at centre stage as if you’re in the Mad Max universe, desolate, dangerous and isolated. I also admired how each base has a distinct design – creative renditions all around. It’s been a long time since I played it but I still have moments in the game I remember fondly. For instance, when I was driving around in the empty desert, I discovered an entrance to an underground church that had literally no reason to be there but was interesting to explore. it’s interesting how they made a wasteland have unique areas, each with its own aesthetic. I also enjoyed the convoys. The driving and handling were on point, it requires some getting used to at first, but it quickly grew on me. It’s got a decent gameplay loop, the combat was fun.

The original Final Fantasy V11 was a beast of a game on its own. It was so much of a hit that we couldn’t stop clamoring for a remake of the same. And it finally came. To think of it, the VII remake is of high quality, that it’s arguably even better than the original. The remake stays true to the essence of the fantasy game. While the whole game plan revolves around a lot of real-time combat and a lot of fist-clashing, the remake includes a few interesting ideas and angles to make the game a little more refreshing. If anything, true PS4 gamers have to try this game at least once in their lives. It’s a pulsating challenge full of twists and turns, which has been made even better with better graphics, more casting time, and memorable memories.

It is a classic coming-of-age story that is based on Greek mythology and the game’s protagonist is Zagreus, who happens to be the son of Hades. In the game’s synopsis, Zagreus is trying to escape the underworld as he tries to reach the surface and as players take on the role of Zagreus, you find yourself dying dozens of times over your quest, but it is something you quickly get used to, once you start to master new weapons and perfect your escapes against impossible odds. It is undoubtedly one of the best games you could play on PS4, as it offers you an unforgettable campaign of despair, struggle, triumph, and ultimately, a great sense of satisfaction, upon completion.
