X-Men: The Official Game

This product was recommended by Petar Petrov from DiamondLobby

If you are a fan of superheroes, then you will absolutely love this X-Men video game. You can single-handedly experience superhero action as the game explains the Nightcrawler’s mysterious absence from the movie. At the same time, in-game events will foreshadow the roles of the X-Men and the Brotherhood in the movie. You can travel the world as you explore the Statue of Liberty, Alkali Lake, Dark Cerebro, and more while fiercely battling enemies in time-based missions. The game also featured uniquely engineered environments by Activision developers to showcase each character’s mutant abilities in their best light. The more you play, the more control you will have over your X-Men as they improve their superpowers over time using the Mutant Evolution System.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

This product was recommended by John Peterson from Safe Drive Gear

This is a classical revival of the classic PC platforming game where you started in the dungeon and had to escape upwards to the highest tower to save the princess from the evil vazier. This 3D version has exactly that type of classic platforming where you essentially go higher and higher up to the top of the tower but the focus is not saving the princess but rather returning the sands of time to the hourglass. The platforming in this game in incredible. It has a great story and presentation. To sum it up, this game is a lot of fun! I would suggest it for anyone, young or old.

Lost Kingdom

This product was recommended by Ludovic Chung-Sao from Zen Soundproof

This is the first RPG I played on GameCube. And, oh boy! It’s so good. The gameplay might seem stiff at first sight but it’s extremely addictive after the first 2, 3 stages. The storyline is not where this game shines. It’s rather on the gameplay the developers focused on. By the way, it’s a game signed From Software. Some of you might recognize the name as more recently they developed Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro… The combat system is dynamic meaning you can forget about the turn-based combat. You’ll have to trap monsters into cards which you can use for your next fight. It’s very tactical but on the field you don’t have much time to think.

Tales of Symphonia

This product was recommended by Ludovic Chung-Sao from Zen Soundproof

Maybe the best RPG I ever played. Tales of Symphonia (ToS) was the first Tales of I tried back at the time. The open combat system makes this game so different from the traditional RPG genre (like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy). Combats are dynamic and addictive with all the combo skills you can develop. The possibility to play in multiplayer all along the adventure, which will take you around 40 to 50 hours, is really using the GameCube to its advantage. The graphics and the cinematics haven’t aged at all. The storyline is intriguing and will make you feel like you’re on a quest to save the world. The soundtrack is so good that it makes your adventure even more epic.

The Sims Bustin’ Out

This product was recommended by Dexter Jones from We Love Cats and Kittens

Many of us are big Sims fans and this time they are bustin’ out of the house and out exploring all-new locations around town. You can have fun with a cast of over 25 crazy characters. Choose from a dozen new careers and even take your Sim out on the town to meet your new friends. I love the fact that this game gives you objectives to aim to achieve with your Sim, and it also gives you a story to follow. I just jump into the story world of The Sims Bustin’ Out, and let my imagination take over!

GameCube Metroid Prime

This product was recommended by Jonathan James from DJ Tech Reviews

For me, Metroid Prime is one of the best games of all time. The atmosphere is super immersive, it puts you right into the shoes of the bounty hunter as you discover galaxies and a beautiful created alien planet. The controls are fluid, and they get even smoother the more upgrades you get, giving you more abilities when exploring the in-game map. Everything is slick, secrets are hidden in every nook and cranny, and your progression through the game is excellently handled. A great all-around game.
