The story follows a woman, Eden Wallace, whose husband has died, and she has succumbed to grief and given up on things she once loved. Eden finds out that her husband made reservations at a remote dark sky park in Michigan, so she decides to go and conquer her fear of darkness, which has terrorized her since her husband’s death.
