For families, I like to recommend The Logan Hotel, which is a Hilton CurioCollection boutique property. It is one of the few hotels in the city with a smallpool that kids can enjoy and is only steps away from the Natural History Museum(dinosaurs), Franklin Institute (science fun) and across from Sisters Cities Parkalong the Parkway.
Families can also enjoy the walk to the Art Museum passing The Barnes and Rodin Museums and run up the Rocky Steps or walk the other direction to Reading Terminal food market. The hotel has its own local art collection, rooftop bar and farm to table restaurant Urban Farmer. It’s one of my favorite new hotels in Philadelphia for all to enjoy.
There are several Drury Inns in San Antonio. I have personally stayed at Drury Plaza in North San Antonio. Each Drury Inn provides a hot free breakfast, evening drinks and snacks, and free soda and popcorn. When we were there, the evening snacks were more like dinner for most families. It included a pasta dish, nacho, hot dogs, potatoes and several other dishes. There is a soda machine available and a popcorn machine. Beyond these great amenities, the price was very affordable and the hotel was well kept. Whenever we go to San Antonio, we seek out the Drury Inn.
