#2 The Logan Hotel

For families, I like to recommend The Logan Hotel, which is a Hilton CurioCollection boutique property. It is one of the few hotels in the city with a smallpool that kids can enjoy and is only steps away from the Natural History Museum(dinosaurs), Franklin Institute (science fun) and across from Sisters Cities Parkalong the Parkway.

Families can also enjoy the walk to the Art Museum passing The Barnes and Rodin Museums and run up the Rocky Steps or walk the other direction to Reading Terminal food market. The hotel has its own local art collection, rooftop bar and farm to table restaurant Urban Farmer. It's one of my favorite new hotels in Philadelphia for all to enjoy.

There are several Drury Inns in San Antonio. I have personally stayed at Drury Plaza in North San Antonio. Each Drury Inn provides a hot free breakfast, evening drinks and snacks, and free soda and popcorn. When we were there, the evening snacks were more like dinner for most families. It included a pasta dish, nacho, hot dogs, potatoes and several other dishes. There is a soda machine available and a popcorn machine. Beyond these great amenities, the price was very affordable and the hotel was well kept. Whenever we go to San Antonio, we seek out the Drury Inn.

#3 Wyndham Historic District

Steps away from Independence Hall, Constitution Center, Museum of the American Revolution, Penn's Landing and more. The location is ideal for a family as you can enjoy an activity or excursion and easily get back to the hotel to relax before heading out in the evening.

The Wyndham has its own parking garage so if you need your car, you can enter and exit as often as you like. The hotel also offers a swimming pool which is always a plus for kids! My family and I recently stayed for the Juneteenth Parade and Music Fest and were close to all activities that took place over the weekend.

#5 The Spruce Street Residence

Sometimes you need more than a hotel space to sprawl, a kitchen to cook food for your picky eaters and somewhere for the kids to play. Let's be fair, staying in a hotel room with kids can be a disaster where nobody gets any sleep. So this family-friendly apartment is a great solution! We particularly like the perks on offer for families in Philadelphia. The owners offer a family package which includes a toy, activity class, zoo and museum entry, to get your stay off to an amazing start.
