My first year Iread The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It’s a kids’ book, I know! But that’s precisely what helped me; its complex message presented in a simple manner made me remember that I don’t need to sound flowery or intelligent or pretentious. Just myself. It also helped me manage my stress about growing up. College is when it really hits you that your childhood is over, after all.
