Dweck’s book Mindset: The New Psychology Of Success to learn the importance of having an open mind that enables a person to willing tackle tasks at which he or she may fail. With a closed mind, business owners are at a grave risk because they may not be willing to undertake potential opportunities. An open mindset is particularly vital for considering a customer’s perspective rather than the business owner’s perspective to ensure a business that is user friendly (the importance of which I describe in this blog post).
