Found exclusively in the high trees of Papa New Guinea’s Huon Peninsula and resembling more of a teddy bear than anything else, the Matschie tree kangaroo is as cute as it is remote. Just like other kangaroos, the mothers carry their young in the famous pouch on their front and all of these adorable animals live off the leaves the region provides.
