Cara Says ” I often found myself overwhelmed, easily derailed and feeling guilty as I tried to balance a demanding job and my growing family. Over time I learned how to let go of my insecurities and guilt, embrace imperfection and practice self-compassion. 

This book serves as a reminder to other moms that you are not alone in the struggles of parenting. We don’t have to beat ourselves up when reality doesn’t match your expectations. I also offer practical tips for things like getting organized, dealing with homework, breastfeeding and getting rid of with the ever-so-annoying head lice. 

So whether you’ve just found out you are pregnant, or have a child in school I hope that by sharing my mistakes and lessons learned along the way, I can help you gain confidence and let go of the guilt that can make parenting so much tougher. That darn mommy guilt! So many of us feel it when we fall short of perfect. We are all far from perfect and that’s okay! “
