Ham Yard Hotel (5/8)

I’m a big fan of design hotels and I admire the witty and stylish design flair of the townhouse styled Firmdale Hotels, blending classic tradition and modern decor. Owned by husband and wife team, Tim and Kit Kempt, their hotels are uniquely designed by Kit, an award-winning interior designer. They have eight boutique hotels in London and two in New York, each with ‘in vogue’ destination bars and restaurants, and their own unique twists.

The Ham Yard Hotel is centrally located, in a discreet corner of Soho, a stone’s throw from Piccadilly Circus. In keeping with the theme of blending business and pleasure, it boasts ‘The Crow Bowling Alley’, a spectacular solid maple 1950’s bowling venue that is a private events space, complete with stylish bar, lounge and dance floor. Those business travellers keen to see and be seen won’t be found wanting in the always buzzy hotel bar and restaurant.
