Perhaps surprisingly, this inclusion is one of the potentially most harmful animals in this entire list. Harbouring a poisonous neurotoxin, this amphibian is capable of delivering a blow that could trigger seizures and paralysis. It is only found in Costa Rica’s dense Osa Peninsula.
