Our biggest takeaway for startup culture has been putting boundaries on our company and employee’s time. Too often, startup culture demands an all-consuming dedication to the company—long hours, weekend work, texts and calls at all times of the day. With clear expectations surrounding when founders and employees can communicate it makes it easier to do work at work and then have mental breathing room once work is over. It’s increased employee focus and overall professionalism within our company.
