This logo animation is an homage to the Olympics games. The transitions were done by showing athletes in action such as sprinting, going through hurdles and high jumps. Each action reveals one ring in the Olympics logo before interlacing them in the end. The work featured great use of cel animation with 3D transitions.

When Microsoft launched the Xbox One they commissioned Man vs Machine to design their global motion brand identity. The Xbox logo animation is one of their most iconic brand elements and our task was to translate their new logo into a full 3D brand language, with this item being the long form brand expression.
This hypnotic 3D logo animation was created by Man Vs Machine, an international creative studio. As we can see in the animation, the X is folding itself continuously before the final logo reveals to deliver the message that Xbox is constantly reinventing itself.

Stop motion title sequence for Dutch science show “Het Klokhuis” (The Apple Core). It is Hollands oldest youth television show, covering everything from the history of dinosaurs to how an iPhone is made. This was commissioned by advertising agency Kesselskramer, produced at Nexus Productions, and was made in collaboration with model maker / sculptor Jethro Haynes.
“Het Klokhuis”, known as The Apple Core in English, is a Dutch science show. This interesting title sequence was made using stop-motion in collaboration with Jethro Haynes, a model maker/sculptor. In order to maintain the logo shape, the apple was built using 3D printing technology.

The studio logo for Lava Bear Films, they wanted a handmade intimate and custom design echoing their ethos of making 2-4 small films a year. Based on the mythology of the creature from the north west called the Lava Bear.
This logo animation was inspired by the nature and the boyhood imagination of Lava Bear’s CEO, where he was told to look out for “lava bears” while camping in the forest of Oregon, as well as delivering the message of what Lava Bear does – making incredible stories from an empty canvas.

In late 2012 HBO contacted us to participate in the pitch for the new Image of HBO Core Latin America, the best channel ever! To participate was already an honor and winning it was amazing!
These animations were created as a pitch by a studio known as Plenty, for the new brand image of HBO Latin America to reflect HBO’s leadership in the entertainment industry by adapting according to the latest digital trends. It was no surprise when Plenty won the pitch with this highly immaculate and sophisticated 3D piece.

The animation started with the dot in the logo to signify “greatness starts from something small”, which was then shown as water drop, inspired by a famous quote from Bruce Lee “When you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup.
