3 Cool Tricks to Impress at Parties

Whether you’re looking to impress at a party, performing for friends, or simply looking for exciting ways to fill your free time, there are tons of ideas out there. Tricks can wow and amaze people while keeping them engaged and having fun. Check out these cool tricks to impress at parties that are simple to do and fun to watch.

Fuse two matches together

To fuse two matches together, take three matches out of your matchbox. Place one leaning up against the open matchbox inside. Use the second to lean up against the first, making a triangle. Take your third match and light it. Then, light the other two, simultaneously. As they burn the match outside of the box should lift as it fuses with the first match. This is a fun and easy-to-do party trick to amaze your friends and family. For this activity, it’s important to keep in mind that there are two different types of matches. It’s recommended to use safety matches for this activity.

Break an apple in half with your bare hands

All you need for this trick is your hands and an apple. Take the apple and remove the stem. Then, press it firmly against your hand in the fleshy part just below the start of your thumb. After you have a secure grip on the apple, position your thumbs next to each other over the top of the apple—where the stem used to be. Start to press firmly while using a rolling motion through your thumbs. This pressure will cause the apple to break into two clean halves.

Get an egg inside a bottle

This trick requires a little prep work. To get an egg inside a bottle in an impressive way, choose a vase with an opening that is smaller than the egg you choose. Fill a pan on the stove with enough water to cover the egg by about an inch. Boil the egg in water for about five minutes, and then remove the egg and dip it in cold water. Next, coat the inside of the bottle’s mouth with some vegetable oil-for lubrication. The trick is now set. With your friends watching, peel your egg, dip it into some water, and set it with the small end down inside the mouth of the bottle. It should still be too big to slide down without aid. Finally, light the tip of a piece of paper on fire. Lift your egg off the bottle, drop your burning paper inside, and then swiftly replace the egg. Your egg should gently wiggle down into the mouth of the bottle, then fall. This is a fun and simple trick to do.
