Spend Time With Friends and Family

It may sound counterintuitive, but if you want to advance your career as a physician assistant, you need to take some time away from work. Too much time dedicated to your career will eventually wear you down. If you do not have relationships outside of work where you can explore different parts of your personality, you will feel consumed and controlled by your goals as a physician assistant. This will eventually lead to burnout.
