It’s a game where you weigh every choice because the wrong one could end up killing somebody. The Witcher 3 is set in a gorgeous open world rife with activity and quests. Before long you find yourself immersed in this game. If you’re looking for a game that just keeps you hooked with limitless lore and hundreds of diverse locations this is the one you should go for, no doubt the best of the eight-generation games, period!
Assassin Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla may not immediately jump out when considering the best 8th generation games to play, but it certainly jumps out when you think about the best games to play. The game set during the Viking Invasion is a hair-raising, spellbinding conglomeration of amazing gameplay, astounding graphics, and historical depiction. The earlier versions of Assassin’s creed may come to your brain, but they don’t come close to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in my opinion.

Everyone thinks that you can’t go any further when you hit bedrock, but this game lets you do it. It’s not just about the motivation, or the fact that the game lets you become anything you want. In my case, this game offers a constant dose of excitement because it allows me to become what I naturally won’t be under any other citation. Everything about this game would probably be a failure were it set into any other, but Elysium makes impossibilities real, and it allows you to break them down.

The 8th Gen has given us some brilliant games and easily some of the best games of all time. My top-tier game from the 8th Gen has to be Red Dead Redemption 2. It hits all of the boxes for world-building, story, and gameplay mechanics and has been one of the few games I would give a 10/10. I have already played it through 3 times and due to the mechanics of the game no time has been the same and it has truly been a refreshing playthrough.
