Our kids love to play Money Match Cafe. They set up tables at a cafe for their teddies and then have to deliver meals to each customer after matching the meal with the correct amount of coins. This board game is great for several reasons. It requires cooperation and a bit of strategy. You have to plan your path to quickly get all the keys and still make it to the end before the Ogres steal your treasure (stinky Ogres). It has taught her how to use a grid system and how to use a bit of forethought to plan the desired route. The key and lunchbox placement are randomized by rolling dice, so each round is unique. We have played it at least a hundred times by this point. It’s also easy for younger siblings to play along with as well.
