Too often I see websites come through that look beautiful but have failed to capture user intent. Understanding your users and how they interact with your design is crucial. Making something look sleek is only a small fraction of what it takes to be a successful designer, as is possessing the technical ability to code a site from scratch. I recommend this Udemy course by Joe Natoli because it really bridges the gap between design for user experience and the technical/visual aspects that other classes typically focus on.
