They say the pen is mightier than the sword. But is it mightier than an iconic World War II fighter plane? It’s Retro 51’s way of paying homage to the P-51 Mustang, the first U. S. built fighter to cruise over Europe after the fall of France. The revered aircraft was fast, sleek and built to go the distance, thanks to large dual fuel tanks.
The sleekly-tapered, ergonomic P-51 Mustang pen is fun to hold and use. Part of Retro 51’s Vintage Metalsmith collection, it features a twist-top, antique finish and acid-etched and printed design. Each pen is packaged in a commemorative tube, which makes it a five-star gift for military historians, veterans, and lovers of all things aviation.
