We’ve all heard the cliche that women want flowers just because, right? It’s the thought and spontaneity behind the action that drives those wishes, not the flowers. When all you have is video chatting and text messaging, it’s really easy to get comfortable in a long distance relationship. Alright, so you might get time off from work and have a few extra dollars so you plan a vacation together, but that’s maybe once or twice a year. You have to go the extra mile in a long distance relationship to let your SO know you’re thinking about them. Send them a letter or a care package, work in cahoots with their best friend to plan a surprise visit, or send flowers to their job, just because.
