When an accident — or worse — strikes, it’s bystanders who have to react before first-responders arrive, and if victims are bleeding, those first few seconds can make the difference between life and death. Developed in response to President Obama’s “Stop the Bleed” campaign, the unique Audio Bleeding Control Kit provides supplies and “just in time” audio instruction in English and Spanish, along with visual instructions, on how to handle three levels of bleeding injuries, including life-threatening arterial wounds. The lightweight, portable and comprehensive kits can easily be stored on shelves, in drawers or vehicle trunks, or mounted on walls — everywhere now-common AEDs (automated external defibrillators) are found.
