Mara Solomon, the detective in this case, is a musicologist who is unwittingly thrown into an investigation when her friend, a harpist with the ASO, is abducted from her apartment. The trail to her friend’s killer takes her all the way to Scotland and back, as she tries to solve the mystery before the killer finds her.
