Not only is doing your own natural recipes good for your health, but it’s good for your wallet. Use microfiber towels instead of paper towels or use wipes. General advice: don’t hang on to items which are beyond repair or cleaning.  If you haven’t used it in a year, and if it has no speciality use – chuck it. You’ll be doing yourself a favor in more ways than one.

More general, rule-of-thumb advice: it is so annoying to hear, but it is a timeless truth. Cleaning naturally becomes a lot easier when there is less to clean. In other words, designate a time for each activity. Split things up into daily or semi-daily, weekly, monthly, etc. And you will find that your house is in much better order on a regular basis. And it also means that when it does come time to clean, there is a lot less to handle. It is all about proper dispersion of your time. Like many other proper habits, it takes effort, but is well worth it.
