The Latest In Wearable Technology

Take your FITBIT workout to the next level with L’Oréal’s UV Sense, the latest in wearable technology. It is a sensor that detects your level of exposure to ultraviolet rays and offers recommendations for getting less or more sun for optimal health. Stick it on a fingernail or elsewhere, such as on a pair of sunglasses.

The sensor is battery-free and has a temperature sensor, NFC antenna, and stores up to 3 months of data that can be downloaded with a smartphone.

Just know that these innocuous looking sensors and the tools used with them (the Strava mobile app, Fitbit and Jawbone and I suppose computers and cell phones in general) are stalking you according to the legal definition of stalking, and are therefore illegal technologies that have already revealed the locations and maneuvers of secret military bases overseas as recently reported, no less.

Guess the 4th Amendment of the US Constitution guarantees the privacy and freedom from search and seizure of every American for a good reason after all.
