Networking on Purpose (8/13)

[This book is] a quick read, and completely digestible, but the strategies she gives are very valuable and very deep. It gives any professional, experienced or not, the tools they need to go out and transform their effort from just showing up to an event for the appetizers into one with purposeful intent, and an effort which adds value to people’s lives.

She shows you how to get over any fear of networking you might have, how to approach other professionals, and how not to be “salesy” and get completely ignored when you do get in front of people.

  1. This is a great book, especially if you are new to networking. You’ll learn what to do as well as what not to do and why. A must read!
