Imagine heading to New York without visiting their incredible shops. It’s pretty much unthinkable. One of the most popular places to shop is in SoHo, plus you may even spot a few celebrities. If you get hungry, it’s no problem to find someplace to stop and eat.

If you’re in the mood for something a bit different, you can always head to 5th Avenue. They have huge stores that are indeed a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Unless you have a lot of money to spend you probably won’t want to buy too much. One of the best times to visit if you’re going to experience the beauty is visiting the area during Christmas.

You always hear people raving about New York-style pizza but did you know that it’s not only famous for its pizza? One of the main ports people arrived at when coming to America was through Ellis Island. Quite a few of them stayed and decided to set up shop, which has made for some of the best restaurants in the United States. No matter what type of food you’re craving, you’ll likely find it in the city.

The Nightlife

New York is known as the city that never sleeps, so it’s no surprise that there’s always an abundance of things to do all hours of the day. If you feel like kicking your heels, you can do that at one of the local bars, and there are plenty to choose from. You’ll find the typical bars that you’re used to, as well as some that may surprise you a bit. Such as the ones located on rooftops.

The Parks

New York has some of the most beautiful parks you’ll ever see. If you’ve never been to Central Park, it is one place you have to visit. There’s something for almost everyone at this park. There is a zoo and playgrounds plus a lot of statues. One of the unique things you’ll find there is Belevedere Castle which Calvert Vaux and architect Jacob Wrey Mould made in 1892.

No matter how far you are coming from, New York is always worth the trip. One of the best you and your girlfriends can start your weekend is by renting a charter bus so you guys won’t have to deal with the traffic but instead can jump right into having fun.

New York is one trip everyone should experience at least once. It doesn’t matter if you go with friends, family or even alone. You’ll never regret the sites you see. One thing that wasn’t on the list that probably should have been was visiting the Statue of Liberty and Times Square. Those two go without saying.
