#1 Change Your Life! by Allen Klein

This book I wrote has inspiring words of wisdom from some of the world’s greatest thinkers. It will inspire readers to not only live their life to the fullest but also has the potential to be life-changing. Kipling once said that words are the most powerful drug used by mankind ― the words in this book are the prescription readers need to renew and reinvigorate their lives.

#2 The 12 Steps for Everyone by Ryn Gargulinski

Getting your life together starts by fixing what’s wrong inside, rather than outside, yourself. The 12 steps achieve exactly that. This workbook I authored, is a fun and light-hearted take on the 12 steps that helps anyone, anywhere use them to enhance their lives, whether they’re in recovery or not. You’ll learn how to eliminate resentments, mend relationships and let go of everything from age-old baggage to the need to create drama where none actually exists. Once you’re insides are in order, it’s pretty amazing how everything outside falls neatly into place.

#3 The Garden of Peace: by Rabbi Shalom Arush

Although this book is considered a religious Jewish book, the concepts and principles can be applied to all religions on how to live a peaceful, grateful life. This is the only book I have ever read four times...it's that helpful in my life. I have purchased it for many other friends who are not religious. Pay it forward kind of book. Available in English, Hebrew, Russian, and Spanish.

#5 Ready, Set, Go! by Nick Nanton, Brian Tracy & J W Dicks

Ready, Set, Go! is a compilation of leaders who have tried, tried, and tried again. The reader gets perspectives from accomplished individuals with a wide range of experiences: a pearl diver from Hawaii, a previously homeless person, a farm girl from South Dakota, an Emmy winning producer, a productivity expert, and more.

Perhaps my favorite thing about this book is that the reader can find an inspiring chapter for any situation they're facing from financial struggles to personal challenges. It's terrific!

#8 Happy Singlehood by Elyakim Kislev

Stop thinking about being single as a negative! It's a societal trap that increasingly, people aren't falling into. Being single can be Awesome. That's part of why it's becoming more and more common. That's why I'm recommending this book.

In Happy Singlehood: The Rising Acceptance and Celebration of Solo Living, Elyakim Kislev aims to: shine a spotlight on the mechanisms behind the rising trend of accepting and celebrating solo living, help readers to foster and embrace the joys of single-hood, and ultimately to propel individuals, researchers and policy makers to think about and pro-actively engage with the evolving ways in which human beings around the world are organizing their social and family lives.

#9 Working My Way Back To Me by April Kirkwood

A little girl born into a dysfunctional lower middle class family filled with addiction, molestation, and adultery now is beginning conversations about what happens after we realize our life is a mess. A beacon of light for healing: Why Women Let Men Use them and the Solution to Fixing it?

This is a cinematic book that lays out in harsh technicolor all that is fake, brutal and life-snuffing about American culture. Celebrity worship, spousal abuse, sexual abuse, adultery, false religiosity, and innocence interrupted all converge into a roiling brew that boils over into one heck of a story you can't put down. A must-read in this #MeToo movement we are experiencing.

#10 The Charisma Myth by Olivia Fox Cabane

We tend to think that charisma is something some people have, while others don't, and this can cause problems in our personal lives. We also tend to have a narrow view of what charisma looks like. This book helps you find your own charismatic style so that you can develop better relationships. I'd definitely recommend for anyone who finds that many of their challenges stem from a lack of confidence or communication skills.

#11 Limitless by Laura Gassner Otting

This book focuses specifically on the question of “what if success didn’t equal happiness?” Many of us spend our lives pursuing a singular idea of success, one that was created for us by someone else. We give votes to those who shouldn't even have voices and strive to go faster and faster even as we find ourselves falling further and further behind. We chase gold stars, we check all the boxes, we Lean In - and we still feel incomplete. When we don't define success in our own terms, finding our purpose and carving our own path becomes impossible. The only way to break the cycle so that you can be better at work and life is to figure out what give you – specifically, uniquely you – consonance. And that comes from a combination of calling, connection, contribution, and control.
